[netCDF #FJH-339520]: FAN installation failure

Hello,

I'm not familiar with FAN, but it appears there is a problem of some sort in
the netcdf.h file. It looks like you are running a pretty old version of
netCDF-C. I would suggest updating to 4.5.0 or later; ideally, you would
update to the latest release, 4.6.1, available from
https://github.com/Unidata/netcdf-c/releases.

When you installed netCDF-C, did you run 'make check' to see if the tests
completed successfully?
