[netCDF #GKE-356296]: HDF_TO_NETCDF

[This is from Dennis Heimbigner, not Ward].
Did you just try to read the hdf5 file using, for example,
the ncdump command? Netcdf can directly read some (but not all)
HDF5 files.
Also, can you post the output (as an attachment) of the
command 'h5dump' applied to that hdf5 file?
