Hello, What version of pnetcdf are you using? This is not an expected problem. You might try again using the recently-released netCDF 4.4.0, along with the latest pnetcdf (1.6.1). If you try this, let me know if the issue remains or is resolved. Additionally, would you please provide the config.log generated when you configured 4.3.3.1? This will provide additional information and may shed some light on what is occurring. Thanks! -Ward > Greetings, > > I am building netCDF 4.3.3.1 in concert with PnetCDF on gcc 4.7.2 and notice > a segfault in one of the tests. > > The attached md file captures the instructions and the error is as follows: > > FAIL: nctest > PASS: tst_rename > FAIL: compare_test_files.sh > make[4]: Entering directory > `/home/spdomin/gitHubWork/scratch_build/packages/netcdf-c-4.3.3.1/nctest' > make[4]: Nothing to be done for `all'. > make[4]: Leaving directory > `/home/spdomin/gitHubWork/scratch_build/packages/netcdf-c-4.3.3.1/nctest' > ============================================================================ > Testsuite summary for netCDF 4.3.3.1 > ============================================================================ > # TOTAL: 3 > # PASS: 1 > # SKIP: 0 > # XFAIL: 0 > # FAIL: 2 > # XPASS: 0 > # ERROR: 0 > ============================================================================ > See nctest/test-suite.log > Please report to address@hidden > ============================================================================ > > > Is this a problem with my build or a known test that segfaults? > > Best, > > Stefan > > Ticket Details =================== Ticket ID: DNR-679369 Department: Support netCDF Priority: Normal Status: Closed
