Hello Ellen, Can you provide the test-suite.log generated when the tests run? That should provide some information specific to which test is failing and will hopefully point us in the right direction. Also, on second look, I see the following: /bin/sh: line 2: -sdk: command not found This looks like an error in a shell script, but I'm not sure which script would have thrown this error. Can you identify where this is being invoked, and if it's a netcdf shell script, point me at it so I can try to duplicate this on my OSX system? Thanks, have a great day! -Ward > Hello, > > I'm building NetCDF 4.3.3.1 on Mac OS X 10.9. > > The build itself succeeds, and the h5_test and ncgen3 tests pass, but when > it gets to the ncdump tests, I get the errors shown below. > > Do you have any ideas as to what may be causing this, or any steps I can > take to isolate the problem? > > Thank you! > > ellen > > gmake[6]: Leaving directory > `/mathworks/devel/sandbox/ellenj/3p-tmw/3p/derived/maci64/netcdf/ncdump' > gmake check-TESTS > gmake[6]: Entering directory > `/mathworks/devel/sandbox/ellenj/3p-tmw/3p/derived/maci64/netcdf/ncdump' > gmake[7]: Entering directory > `/mathworks/devel/sandbox/ellenj/3p-tmw/3p/derived/maci64/netcdf/ncdump' > /bin/sh: line 2: -sdk: command not found > gmake[7]: *** [run_tests.sh.log] Error 127 > gmake[7]: Leaving directory > `/mathworks/devel/sandbox/ellenj/3p-tmw/3p/derived/maci64/netcdf/ncdump' > gmake[6]: *** [check-TESTS] Error 2 > gmake[6]: Leaving directory > `/mathworks/devel/sandbox/ellenj/3p-tmw/3p/derived/maci64/netcdf/ncdump' > gmake[5]: *** [check-am] Error 2 > gmake[5]: Leaving directory > `/mathworks/devel/sandbox/ellenj/3p-tmw/3p/derived/maci64/netcdf/ncdump' > gmake[4]: *** [check-recursive] Error 1 > gmake[4]: Leaving directory > `/mathworks/devel/sandbox/ellenj/3p-tmw/3p/derived/maci64/netcdf/ncdump' > gmake[3]: *** [check] Error 2 > gmake[3]: Leaving directory > `/mathworks/devel/sandbox/ellenj/3p-tmw/3p/derived/maci64/netcdf/ncdump' > gmake[2]: *** [check-recursive] Error 1 > gmake[2]: Leaving directory > `/mathworks/devel/sandbox/ellenj/3p-tmw/3p/derived/maci64/netcdf' > gmake[1]: *** [test_unix] Error 2 > gmake[1]: Leaving directory > `/mathworks/devel/sandbox/ellenj/3p-tmw/3p/derived/maci64/netcdf' > gmake: *** [netcdf.build] Error 2 > > > Ticket Details =================== Ticket ID: VMW-178853 Department: Support netCDF Priority: Normal Status: Closed
