Hello Shawn, I'm not able to recreate this issue. There may have been a network issue on our end, but appears to have been corrected. If you are still experiencing this, can you try the following from the command line? curl -O "ftp://ftp.unidata.ucar.edu/pub/netcdf/sample_data/hdf4/AMSR_E_L2_Rain_V10_200905312326_A.hdf.gz" That should work for you. If it doesn't, can you check to make sure you have network access to ftp.unidata.ucar.edu? Thanks, let me know if this works (or doesn't), -Ward > =============================================== > netCDF 4.3.3-rc2: nc_test4/test-suite.log > =============================================== > > # TOTAL: 59 > # PASS: 57 > # SKIP: 0 > # XFAIL: 0 > # FAIL: 2 > # XPASS: 0 > # ERROR: 0 > > .. contents:: :depth: 2 > > FAIL: run_get_hdf4_files.sh > =========================== > > > Getting HDF4 test files AMSR_E_L2_Rain_V10_200905312326_A.hdf > AMSR_E_L3_DailyLand_V06_20020619.hdf > MYD29.A2009152.0000.005.2009153124331.hdf > MYD29.A2002185.0000.005.2007160150627.hdf > MOD29.A2000055.0005.005.2006267200024.hdf > > curl: (7) couldn't connect to host > > FAIL: tst_interops3 > =================== > > > *** Testing HDF4/NetCDF-4 interoperability... > *** testing that all hdf4 files can be opened...Sorry!
