Cooper, I'm not sure if we ever solved your problem, but the original error you got ========================================== netCDF 4.3.2: h5_test/test-suite.log ========================================== # TOTAL: 26 # PASS: 25 # SKIP: 0 # XFAIL: 0 # FAIL: 1 # XPASS: 0 # ERROR: 0 .. contents:: :depth: 2 FAIL: tst_h_vars ================ *** Checking HDF5 variable functions. *** Checking HDF5 boolen variables...ok. *** Checking HDF5 variable with unlimited dimension...ok. *** Checking HDF5 deflate filter setting and getting...Sorry! Unexpected result, tst_h_vars.c, line: 230 was caused by having too old a version of HDF5 (1.8.7 or earlier) installed, which had a bug that's detected and causes a failure in recent versions of netCDF. Your "make check" should work fine with HDF5 versions 1.8.8 and later. If you have to rebuild HDF5 from source anyway, Iâ âwould recommend just using the latest version 1.8.1â3â, as that's whatâ âwe've done the most testing with. --Russ Russ Rew UCAR Unidata Program address@hidden http://www.unidata.ucar.edu Ticket Details =================== Ticket ID: HSI-795290 Department: Support netCDF Priority: Normal Status: Closed
