[netCDF #BLZ-140951]: updates to FAQ

I've made the changes you suggest to the netCDF FAQ at
<http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/netcdf/docs/faq.html#cdf>.

Thanks also for the offer to work together to improve the
documentation about how the formats compare and to improve the
translators.  I'll have a look at your FAQ and translator work when I
get a chance, and get back to you if I have any changes to recommend.
