I suspect there is name-mangling going on. Is there a version > of the netcdf built specifically for the gfortran compiler in a windows > xp environment. I've spent many hours trying to crack this one. If you have cygwin installed and used the cygwin environment to build and install netCDF, it should work OK. If you're trying to use Visual Studio, we don't have any solutions for gfortran, or any binaries built for Windows that include Fortran libraries for any Fortran compiler. Sorry! The situation for netCDF on Windows is summarized in the two FAQs: http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/netcdf/docs/faq.html#windows_netcdf4_1 and http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/netcdf/docs/faq.html#windows_netcdf4 We're currently trying to recruit a developer who can help with a Windows port, so we're hoping the situation improves in the next six months ... --Russ Russ Rew UCAR Unidata Program address@hidden http://www.unidata.ucar.edu Ticket Details =================== Ticket ID: JBF-619008 Department: Support netCDF Priority: Urgent Status: Closed
