[netCDF #OUH-534551]: Test ftst_vars4 failing on Solaris 10, GCC 4.2

Here's a 1-line patch contributed by another user that I think will fix the 
problem, if it doesn't please let us know.  We plan to incorporate this
fix into the next beta release, unless it doesn't fix your problem:
