The kerberos library reference is coming from libcurl,
which is used by the netcdf DAP code.
If you do not DAP, then you can use the --disable-dap flag
to get rid of the kerberos (and curl) dependency.
Alternatively, you can rebuild libcurl and tell it not to use
kerberos (do not remember off hand the correct ./configure flag).
