[McIDAS #UKN-727350]: Surface station database for contouring METAR parameters....where is it?

Hmm, I was hoping that would do the trick.  There is also ~/data/STNDB.CORE, 
but that's a binary file and I'm not entirely sure how to modify it.  I'll look 
into that.

In the meantime, can you share the commands or code you are running, along with 
any output they generate?  That might help reveal a thing or two.
