[McIDAS #ATD-627104]: Latest release of Unidata McIDAS-X

Hi Robert,

re:

We hired Stonie to join our LDM development efforts primarily, but his
background
and talents give us great strength in LOTS of other areas. Mike Zuranski, who
was one of the primary people behind the College of DuPage NexLab site, was
also hired be a focal point for all things data related in Unidata. Both were
fantastic hires!

re:
> We will look at transitioning this year.

Just so you know, I am deep in getting the Unidata McIDAS v2022 release
put together. Yesterday, I got through the McIDAS-X code, and today I'll
be focusing on XRD and XCD. After that, there will be a lot of build
testing, and then I will focus on documentation.

re:
> Glad you are able to retire next month!

The idea of retiring is, to say the least, scary!

re:
> Had a great Christmas and hopefully no more COVID mess!

I did also, and I am _so_ looking forward for things to return to
"normal", whatever that is anymore.

re:
> Take care and best wishes for retirement!

We'll see about the timing... I need to figure out health insurance,
RMDs, and a myriad of other things. UGH!

Cheers,

Tom
