[McIDAS #LZE-711095]: glmtools ABI gridded data with McIDas

The one thing to remember about McIDAS-X is that it does not interpolate
pixels to get new pixels for simple things like IMGDISPing an image.
Remapping an image into a different projection (IMGREMAP) is completely
different, and that is where specifying RES= and MAG= might be harder
to understand.

OK.  I understand better where you are coming from now!

I think you will find that the job of overlaying images on top of 
each other is very simple in McIDAS-V/IDV, and the ability to
really control transparency makes it very easy to create visually
attractive and useful displays.  On top of that, looking at data
on a globe is absolutely fantastic!
