[McIDAS #VQU-472558]: imgcopy UNIT parameter

Hi Carol,

re:
> How do you specify the GROUP/DESCRIPTOR in REMAP2?

You don't/can't.

Correct. This means that the remap process would be two-step:

- use IMGCOPY to copy the source image into a local image in AREA
  format (e.g., dataset MYDATA/IMAGES)

Make sure that you do not force the output image to be 1-byte VISR.

- use REMAP2 to remap the local image

re:
> Then can you use the PRO keyword to indicate the projection?

The target of REMAP2 has to have the projection that you want to remap
into, so you'll need to create it first with the projection you want
and then run REMAP2.

Like I said in my previous email, end-users mileage may vary.

Cheers,

Tom
