[McIDAS #JVP-171902]: Loading TIFF images in McIDAS

In McIDAS-X, GeoTIFF is an output format only.  You can create a dataset
of type GeoTIFF (see HELP DSSERVER) and then IMGOPY or IMGREMAP to the
newly created dataset.  The biggest caveat is that the only projection
that McIDAS-X supports for GeoTIFF is rectilinear (lat, lon).

If the image is in an ADDE dataset, then you can use the FORM=ALL keyword
on IMGLIST to get image particulars.

Here is an example output:
