[McIDAS #LLN-564004]: GOES-16 data and McIDAS

Hi Heather,

re:
> That image looks great!

The images coming down from GOES-16 are fabulous!

re:
> I tried your trick with the DATALOC SSHDEL and that did not seem to work.

It _must_ have something to do with SSH tunneling given the message included
in the output from the test I asked you to run:

dsserve.k ADD ABI/FD ABIN TYPE=IMAGE
DIRFILE="$PWD/OR_ABI-L1b-RadF-M3C08_G16_s20172552345356_e20172552356123_c20172552356171.nc"

dsserve.k: done

imglist.k ABI/FD.ALL FORM=ALL DEV=CCC

imglist.k* Read of server has failed. Wanted 4

I say this because I have never tried the SSH tunneling option, and
I never see any comment about 'SSH tunnels' in attempted IMGLISTs.

I am at a _total_ loss as to exactly what is causing this. My question
is if SSH tunneling has _ever_ been tried on the workstations you are
running your tests on?

re:

The most recent Unidata v2016 release is v2016a. You can check your
version by:

<as 'mcidas'>
cat ~mcidas/data/VERSION.TXT

Cheers,

Tom
