Is your machine running Solaris? If yes, does it have a SPARC processor
or x86? If it is Solaris on x86, then you are basically out of luck with
McIDAS-X v2016 as neither SSEC nor I have figured out how to get HDF5
to build. On my ToDo list is to create build and install targets that
avoid building HDF5 and the routines that need it. I have not gotten
to the point of getting this to work yet, however.

Cheers,

Tom
