NOT BE BROUGHT BACK INTO SERVICE ANY EARLIER THAN 12HRS FROM NOW
(APPROX. NO EARLIER THAN 1800Z) PER NESDIS. WHEN THEY INVESTIGATE
THE SATL ISSUES MORE CLOSELY THEY WILL BE ABLE TO BETTER FINE
TUNE THE RETURN TO SERVICE TIME FOR GOES-E.

GOES-W WILL CONTINUE IN FULL DISK MODE TO COVER AND THIS WILL
CONTINUE AS LONG AS POSSIBLE.

A subsequent announcement informed users that they (meaning us)
will need to re-point our GOES-East dishes to GOES-14 which is
currently parked at 104W longitude. We are in the process of
trying to effect this change.

The former: GOES-East stopped transmitting images late on the 22nd.
