[McIDAS #NBD-522942]: question on GOES data

to download Unidata McIDAS.

The procedure for the download is simple:

- logon to our website
- create the 'mcidas' user on your *nix (Unix/Linux) machine
- from your 'mcidas account:
  - go to the Downloads page
  - go to the McIDAS section of the downloads page
  - download v2009 Unix Source Code Distribution to the
    HOME directory of the user 'mcidas'
  - follow the instructions in the Unidata McIDAS-X Users Guide:
