Question:

- when you say that you do not have it, do you mean that you can not
  access the data via ADDE from your own ADDE server, or do you mean
  that the data is not anywhere on disk?

Hmm...  I just tried to load the latest Hawaii Regional 8 km WV image
from adde.ucar.edu, and I get an error during the transfer.  This seems
to indicate that there is something strange about these images or that
they tickle a latent bug in the GINI image server.  I will need to
investigate regardless of the cause.
