[McIDAS #SMX-272962]: mcidas question

OK.  This is most easily done in McIDAS using the IMGPROBE command.

You could use a script that runs the IMGPROBE command for each image and
lists out the values you want and save the listed values in a file.

Question:

- exactly why do you want/need to convert the images into netCDF files?
