[McIDAS #UFO-107919]: IMGCOPY and netcdf

Hi Guatam,

re: who were you running the IMGCOPY commands as

OK.

> Do you also need access to another user on our machines ?

No, if the IMGCOPY fails for 'mcidas', it should be enough to
trace down the reason why.

NB: I logged on from home this morning, so someone there might
ask who was connected from a machine with IP of 204.xxx.xxx.xxx.

I am logged into lena from my work machine right now. I will be
troubleshooting throughout the day. My first impression is
that there may be some problem with code that is parsing the
full pathname of the output file. The reason I say this is the
HOME directory for your 'mcidas' user contains multiple periods:

/Network/Servers/headnode.cluster.lan/Volumes/Data/Home/mcidas

This should not cause a problem, but if it turns out that it does
it means that there is bug in a McIDAS parser.

More later...

Cheers,

Tom
