Gilbert,

OK, I was just successful between weather and weather2.

I finished building and installing v2004 on weather3, weather2, and
weather. The builds went without problem as did the uninstall of v2003
and full install of v2004.

One thing I noticed on weather is that you were not scouring McIDAS
data files (through an entry to run mcscour.sh in 'ldm' cron). The
impact of not scouring was that the MD files on weather were not usable
and there were a LOT of old .IDX files in the /data/mcidas directory.
I added the needed scouring (copied ~mcidas/workdata/mcscour.sh to
~ldm/decoders; edited the file; added a cron entry to run it), and then
ran mcscour.sh by hand, and you now have a lot more space in
/home/data. Also, the MD files created anew should be OK.

Cheers,

Tom
