Brian,

Unfortunately, I am here.

I havn't have a chance to talk with Dave yet, but I did take a little
time to look at the problem. I think that the most expedient solution
is to reorganize the grid points so that they fall within "normal"
McIDAS Lat,Lon bounds.

What I mean is that the grid that looks like:

          (90,0)
             +----------+----------+----------+----------+
                     #####################
                     #####################
                     #####################
                     #####################
                     #####################
                     #####################
                     #####################
                     #####################
             +----------+----------+----------+----------+
                                                   (-90,-360)

will need to be transformed to look like:

          (90,180) (90,0)
             +----------+----------+----------+----------+
#####################
#####################
#####################
#####################
#####################
#####################
#####################
#####################
             +----------+----------+----------+----------+
                                                   (-90,-180)

After reading the Mcmkmcgrid.c code a bit, I decided that since the
grid point values are already being moved from their original ordering
to that required by McIDAS, the reordering will not add much new
overhead.

Your email was timely 'cause I was going to look more at the code
today. I guess I am now committed to do so :-(.

Tom
