I just pointed at allegan for the dataset RTIMAGES and was successful in listing and displaying the latest image. I also pointed at allegan for the POINT dataset RTPTSRC and then did a listing of available data: PTLIST RTPTSRC/PTSRCS FORM=FILE ALL Pos Description Schema NRows NCols Proj# Created DataDate ------ -------------------------------- ------ ----- ----- ----- ------- -------- 17 Mand. It also shows that the upper air, synpotic, ship/buoy, and other POINT files are not being decoded. I am worried that the reason for this is related to the comment from Paul F.: "I deleted those that looked like data files" If the wrong files were deleted by Paul, XCD decoding will be mucked up. This needs to be checked into since needed files in the directory into which XCD is trying to create its output might cause the decoders to do unusual things (like create big files, or simply not work and use up CPU). Since the xcd output directory was taking up all of the room, I am worried that your data scouring is not working. >I'll check things as per your e-mail of yesterday and let you know Tom. If you could give me the logins for mcidas and ldm on allegan, I could quickly assess if Paul deleted some files that are needed for XCD to work. If he did, then someone needs to: o shutdown the LDM o resetup XCD decoding o restart the LDM This would be like setting up XCD decoding all over again. It is not hard and doesn't take much time if you are familar with the process, but it could be a time sync for someone who is not familiar with what needs to be done. >Thanks .. Rob Please let me know if you want me to snoop around on allegan.
