Unfortunately, SSEC developed a AREA to netCDF conversion path
(through an IMGCOPY from a dataset composed of AREAs to a dataset
composed of netCDF images), but they did not develop the reverse.

No, sorry.  You may want to blast a note out to the address@hidden
