20000322: DISPLAY environmental variable

Ka Kit,

When you log on to halo from a remote machine, and you want to send
your display output back to your remote X display, you need to do
2 things.

1) On your remote system, you need to allow halo to display to its X server.
   This is accomplished by entering "xhost + halo" on your remote machine before
telnetting to halo.

2) Once you have telnetted to halo, you need to set the environmental variable 
DISPLAY
   to point to your remote machine, in your csh:
   setenv DISPLAY remotemachine:0

   where "remotemachine" above is the name of your remote machine.
   
   You can verify this setup by opening an xterm or some other program back to 
your system.
   Once you have verified that, you should be able to send your gempak or mcidas
   output back to the remote machine.
