[LDM #BSF-129906]: ldmd.conf question

The "hosts" entry in your "etc/nsswitch" specifies "dns" (after "files") so 
that explains why dig(1) works.

Now we need to figure-out what is needed in order to get gethostbyname() 
working. I've asked our system administrator about this and expect an answer 
soon.
