[LDM #AFT-567406]: GOES-17 data filing question

Hi Mike,

re: change Satellite to SATELLITE
> Okay, made this change just in case, and to clean it up.

Thanks. This may not be needed as the LDM log file on the idd.unidata.ucar.edu
node that is feeding vulcan showed the SATELLITE REQUESTs correctly before
and after your change. Here is the before:

I guess that Steve did make a change that allows for mixed case in feed names.

re: Even though you are not REQUESTing all of the SATELLITE feed, the volume and
peaks/valleys in volume is _heavily_ dominated by the FullDisk images especially
Channel 02 (0.64 um) images.

> Good tip. I may alter my request to get just the Channels we are using.
> Not using fulldisk Channel02 at present.

This couldn't hurt.

Steve just sent me a note pointing out that the IP address for eth2 is
a private 10. address, and this indicates that it must be NATed.
The question he poses is:

Is there more than one host behind the NAT?

Meaning, is there more than one machine running an LDM behind the
NAT? If there is, this could be the smoking gun.

Cheers,

Tom
