By "scour file" do you mean the scour(1) script, ~ldm/bin/scour?

If so, then would you please execute the following commands as the LDM user

    echo 'echo ~ldm' >/tmp/t.t
    chmod +x /tmp/t.t
    /tmp/t.t
    sh /tmp/t.t
    bash /tmp/t.t

Here's what you should see:

    $ echo 'echo ~ldm' >/tmp/t.t
    $ chmod +x /tmp/t.t
    $ /tmp/t.t
    /usr1/ldm
    $ sh /tmp/t.t
    /usr1/ldm
    $ bash /tmp/t.t
    /usr1/ldm

Steve Emmerson
