[LDM #EGQ-183612]: LDM 6.13.6 build issue

Thomas,

The file "aclocal.m4" should be automatically generated by the autoconf(1)
tools (if it doesn't exist) when you try to build the package. The fact that
it isn't indicates that there's something amiss with your autotools tool
chain.

What's the output of the command "autoconf --version"? Ours is

    $ autoconf --version
    autoconf (GNU Autoconf) 2.69
    Copyright (C) 2012 Free Software Foundation, Inc.
    License GPLv3+/Autoconf: GNU GPL version 3 or later
    <http://gnu.org/licenses/gpl.html>,
<http://gnu.org/licenses/exceptions.html>
    This is free software: you are free to change and redistribute it.
    There is NO WARRANTY, to the extent permitted by law.

    Written by David J. MacKenzie and Akim Demaille.

If yours is older, can you upgrade?

Alternatively, do you have the aclocal(1) utility? If so, then execute it in
the top-level source-directory to generate the file "aclocal.m4".

> There was no change by removing the logging switch in the configure statement.
> Error code 127 make:Fatal error: Command failed for target 'aclocal.m4'.

Steve Emmerson
