[LDM #GBK-975146]: slight differences between files

Erik,

Your on the right track but you need to adjust the scenarios based on the fact
that the two products are different and, therefore, their MD5 checksums are
different;
therefore, the existence of one in the queue won't cause the other to be
rejected.
Thus, your first scenario is more correct this way:

1. LDM-A receives file-version1 in queue from CPNRS.
LDM-A saves it to disk.

2. LDM-A receives file-version2 in queue from CPNRS.
LDM-A overwrites file-version1 on disk with file-version2.

3. LDM-A clears file-version1 from queue to make room
for more products.

4. LDM-A receives file-version1 from LDM-B. LDM-A
overwrites file-version2 on disk with file-version1.

5. LDM-A receives file-version2 from LDM-B, but since
it still has file-version2 in queue, this gets rejected.

6. LDM-A clears file-version2 from queue to make room
for more products.

*End Result: LDM-A ends with file-version1 on disk.

Regards,
Steve Emmerson
