[LDM #PXK-681085]: LDM v6.12.6 on Mac OS X v10.8.5

Dave,

Same dissimilar treatment of the "z" and "xml2" libraries.

If the "z" library still exists in the "/usr/local/lib" directory, then perhaps
the linker is still finding it there rather than in "/usr/lib" and the
situation is unimproved. Would you mind deleting the "z" library in
"/usr/local/lib" and trying again? Do a "make distclean" before executing the
configure(1) script again.
