Russ, Interesting! The problem is that the file "/home/ldm/etc/ldmadmin-pl.conf" exists and your perl(1) utility doesn't like it. Because your using LDM 6.11, you must have the file "/home/ldm/etc/registry.xml" (please verify this); consequently, you shouldn't need the file "/home/ldm/etc/ldmadmin-pl.conf". Move that file out of the way (by renaming it) and re-execute the "make" command. > I am hitting an error way into the make process.... > > make: Entering directory `/home/ldm/ldm-6.11.7/src/regutil' > test -z "/home/ldm/ldm-6.11.7/bin" || /bin/mkdir -p > "/home/ldm/ldm-6.11.7/bin" > /bin/sh ../libtool --mode=install /usr/bin/install -c regutil > '/home/ldm/ldm-6.11.7/bin' > libtool: install: /usr/bin/install -c .libs/regutil > /home/ldm/ldm-6.11.7/bin/regutil > /usr/bin/perl ./installRegistry regpar.tab ./regutil \ > /home/ldm/etc/ldmadmin-pl.conf /home/ldm/etc > syntax error at /home/ldm/etc/ldmadmin-pl.conf line 9, near "$chop(" > Compilation failed in require at ./installRegistry line 29. > make: *** [install-exec-local] Error 255 > make: Leaving directory `/home/ldm/ldm-6.11.7/src/regutil' > make: *** [install-am] Error 2 > make: Leaving directory `/home/ldm/ldm-6.11.7/src/regutil' > make: *** [install] Error 2 > make: Leaving directory `/home/ldm/ldm-6.11.7/src/regutil' > make: *** [install-recursive] Error 1 Regards, Steve Emmerson Ticket Details =================== Ticket ID: VVJ-331218 Department: Support LDM Priority: Normal Status: Closed
