[LDM #DLI-905086]: Can't get logging to work with LDm 6.11.6 on VM's

Check the following:
    1. Get the logging facility that the LDM will use with the command "grep
LOG_LDM ~/src/config.status";
    2. Verify that an entry exists in the system logging daemon's
configuration-file for the facility of step 1;
    3. Verify that the entry of step 2 logs to an existing directory;
    4. Verify that SELINUX is disabled with the command "selinuxenabled || echo

You can test LDM logging with the ulogger(1) utility. It has a man(1)-page.

> Hi Steve and Tom,
> OK, /home/ldm/logs is empty on vm-weather and vm-weather3.admin.niu.edu.
> And they shouldn't be, with a running LDM.
> On vm-weather, the entries are going to /var/log/messages,
> but they shouldn't be.
> And on vm-weather3, they aren't logging anything.
> Any ideas?
