Adam, What does the command "hupsyslog" output? What is its exit-status? What is the output of the command "ps -ef | grep -F syslog"? Are there any relevant messages from the system logging daemon in the system log file? Was the system rebooted after SELINUX was disabled? > I am having trouble with a new LDM install logging to the ldmd.log file. > The OS is Ubuntu-server 12.04 LTS. > > I have compiled/installed everything (no errors).
