It looks like the GEMPAK decoder "dcnldn" is failing because it receives signal 
6. What is that signal on your system (execute "kill -l")? On ours it's an 
abort signal, which would indicate something very wrong in that decoder.

The above indicate that the GEMPAK decoder "dcmetr" is terminating due to 
reception of signal 10. On my system that's a SIGUSR1. What's it on yours?

The above indicates that the pqact(1) process couldn't find the decoder 
"pnga2area". Did you mean "png2area"? If so, then verify that that decoder is 
in the LDM user's $PATH.
