[LDM #BMA-267922]: Limitation of size of product in LDM version 6.10.1?

Upon further investigation, it looks like I made a mistake in my previous 
answer. Sorry about that.

The correct answer is that zero-size data-products are not supported by every 
aspect of the LDM system on all platforms. In particular, the ldmsend(1) 
utility cannot handle zero-size files because it uses the mmap(2) system 
function and that function fails for zero-length regions.

For this reason and the reasons I mentioned in my previous reply, I recommend 
that you avoid zero-length data-products.
