[LDM #SWP-583361]: Opening port 388

The netstat(1) output shows an LDM server listening on port 388 (unidata-ldm).  
Why did you say that the computer isn't listening on port 388?  Are you not 
able to connect to it?  If so, then the problem might be your firewall rules: 
they might not allow incoming TCP connections to port 388.
