[LDM #RFJ-134602]: Fwd: LDM Data Feed from CDAAC

Dave,

I'm unable to connect to the LDM server on cosmic-io.cosmic.ucar.edu.
The error I obtain indicates that either an LDM isn't running on that
host using port 388 or that some firewall rules between my workstation
and that host are discarding TCP packets from me.

I've included Karl Hudnut in the conversation.
