In order to diagnose the problem, I would need the core file from
process 25639.  I don't suppose one exists.

May I log onto Ernie as the LDM user?  May I have root access?
May I rebuild and reinstall the LDM?

I've been waiting for the LDM on Sasquatch to crash, but it hasn't since
it was rebuilt and reinstalled.
