20050114: ldmadmin and uname -f



Mark,

For some reason, I didn't received your pervious email regarding
"ldmadmin and uname -f", so I don't know what the issue is.

I can say, however, that the hostname(1) utility is non-standard and
can't be relied-upon to exist -- much less have the same options
(hostname(1) doesn't have a "-f" option on SunOS 5.8, for example).

I just wrote the email suggesting using uname -f instead of  uname -r in 
ldmadmn
I should have instead written hostname -f
