The above message contained the following:

If I understand your attachments correctly (they appear to have been
added by a wintel system and were difficult to read on my UNIX system),
it appears that your problem stems from doing a "make install" rather
than a "make" followed by a "make install".

If you want to try again, start with a "make clean", then do a "make",
"make install", and "make install_setuids" (as root). You will find
detailed instructions at

    http://my.unidata.ucar.edu/content/software/ldm/ldm-6.0.2

if and when the web server is back on-line.

The next version of the LDM (6.0.3) will be released today. An
announcement will be posted to the ldm-users mailing-list.
