Louis,

>LDM is setup and running.

Excellent.

>All that is need is to contact our network
>guys to allow port 388 thru the firewall. Things seems to be working
>on this end. I'm wondering if port 388 is block from our end.

It appears to be. I can't do either a ping or ldmping to
angler.larc.nasa.gov. A traceroute to the machine gets to Langley
and then goes into "star" mode:

traceroute angler.larc.nasa.gov

This looks like hitting a firewall to me.

>My
>machine has special firewall exemption for services like ssh, ftp,
>etc. I bet the port 388 is blocked. I'm not getting any data now.
>We'll see in the morning.

Sounds good.

Tom,

That's interesting. I think we're having some network problem. I had
someone today say they can access our webpage. The security folks
might fiddle with the firewall. There's no one here to ask. I guess
it's a hint for me to go home. Talk to you tomorrow.
