Network Time Protocol (NTP) is quite important for the successful
operation of the LDM, having the machine at the correct current time is
critical.

Yes..

It is the prefered method...we have seen it all, and many other configs do
work, but we suggest the standard install as per the ldm install
instructions..it will make your future much easier.

I think we can correct this one..if not, please keep the tar file so we do
not need to download it again, and we can start fresh if need be.

Sounds good..since I would need root to install pico I have not done so
myself, but I would appreciate it if you could..It will make things go
faster from my perspective.

I am out of office today from 10 am MDT to 1pm MDT...but with pico
installed, I can have your LDM purring along in about an hour..

Thanks,

Jeff
