Hi Paul, Sorry for the slow reply. I was in Seattle for the AMS 2017 Annual meeting and was not able to respond to all support inquiries. re: > Can you point to some documentation about what is happening with GOES > 16? The NOAA GOES-R web sites are the best at the moment. I would do a Google (tm) search using 'GOES-R NOAA' as the search term (or you may want to substitute GOES-16 for GOES-R as that is its official designation now). re: > I am getting a bit scared... Scared about/of what? I think that users would be heady with anticipation :-) FYI: we have installed a GOES-R (GOES-16) downlink up at the NCAR Mesa Lab and are now waiting for routine transmission of data so we can wring out the (potential) bugs in the ingest/product creation software (CSPP GEO) that we will be using. Once we get our ingest functioning and after the moratorium on releasing products from the new satellite is over, we plan on making the data available (via ADDE and the TDS) to the community. We are _not_ planning on making the data available via FTP, however. re: > Hope all is well. I'm doing OK, thanks. And you?
