[IDV #YTU-493836]: premature end of JPEG file

Hi Bill,

Sorry I missed your previous email, somehow the support system didn't send a 
copy to my account. We are in the process
of moving to a new support system and hope this kind of error will be avoided.

In the 6.1+ release, the animate gif movie is based on the png format, this 
might be a problem when you specify the
 imagesuffix="jpg", you can try to use "png" or not specifying it. With the IDV 
migrating to Java 11, we probably will
switch back to jpg base movie format.
