[IDV #YEG-512856]: Cleaner example with GridCoverage java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 0

The mystery is that I can do the vertical coordinate subset of GFS on both 
globe and map. I think there is something different in the vertical
coordinate between these two datasets.
