Well, I downloaded sample files from NOAA, and not seeing any problem creating
display. First you need
to check the memory of your IDV and increase it if your computer has enough
memory (4G should be enough).
Second, select Color-shaded plan view instead of contour plan view, let me
know if you still experience any
difficulty.
