[IDV #ILT-713791]: gzip: sfx_archive.tar.gz: invalid compressed data--format violated

Hi Shutian,

I believe you have simply downloaded the wrong version of the IDV. If you are
running Linux on the desktop it is almost certainly 64-bit Linux in which case
you should be downloading:

idv_5_4_linux64_installer.sh
